I keep going back and forth on whether this or The Mending of the Gown is my favorite Sunset Rubdown song. I suppose it really depends on my mood. Where Mending is absolutely frantic and flailing, Apollo and the Buffalo and Anna Anna Anna Oh! is measured and patient. Give it a listen and let it wash over you.

Just found out that Hugh Laurie and the Copper Bottom Band will play Seattle’s Benaroya Hall on June 4. Tickets go on sale tomorrow. I’m in. Here’s a little introductory video to Hugh’s debut album. It was also a pretty darn good Great Performances episode on PBS.
