Hey Jason, I heard about you from the Mob Cast.
While listening I found myself very intrigued by the topics this week. That’s mostly due to the fact that real time strategy games are of special interest to me. I’m a big fan of the genera and it’s nice to see someone else mirror my sentiments with regards to Company of Heroes. I greatly enjoyed the discussion you, Dan and the other guys had on the topic.
But you know, I really do love that Company of Heroes. I mean, I like it so much I decided to make tutorial videos to teach people who to really play. It’s funny, I never expected them to become as popular as they have and to date I’ve got about 280 subscribers on YouTube. Regardless, I think it would be cool to play a match or two with you.
Also on a side note, I run a gaming podcast too and I’m currently looking for guests to come on. Just saying, would be cool if you could swing one of our Sunday recordings in the next few weeks. Consider that an open invitation, cash it in at your leisure.
Have a good one.

Hey Jason,
I’m an editor from the Netherlands (eurogamer.nl) and I was shocked to hear you left IGN. Not that you left the company, but because command prompt just isn’t the same without you. I heard your appearance on mobcast, but I just wanted to ask if you will update your blog when you’re taking up a new job in the gaming industry so I can listen to your passionate ramblings once again…
If you ever want to create some independent worldwide gaming podcast (I’ve got some ideas), I’m all game. Anyway, good luck with your next endeavor, whatever that may be.
Best regards,
Jelle
great reviewer “ever”!! I like your review about PCs, it makes me feel not as a “minority” gamer. =)
